Blue Tails was founded in 2012 by best friends Matt Kingsley and Brent Tuson in San Diego, California.

Matt and Brent always loved dogs! They met at a dog's shelter in Utah. They both volunteered there for 3 years and one day they decided to buy the property and turn it into doggy daycare. Guess what color they painted the property? BLUE!

Since that day, they decorated and furnished the place in blue. A few years later they decided they want to create a blue online store for dog products and that's when they created Blue Tails.
